HelpBlaster connects people who need short-term help with people nearby who want the work. Using this site means you accept these terms.
What HelpBlaster is
We are an introduction service. We are not an employer, a staffing agency, or a party to the arrangement you make with anyone you meet through us. We do not supervise the work, set the hours, or guarantee that it happens.
If you sign up to work
- You are an independent worker, not an employee of HelpBlaster. You are responsible for your own taxes on anything you earn.
- You choose which jobs to accept. Turning one down costs you nothing.
- Show up when you say you will. Repeatedly accepting jobs and not showing up will get you removed from the list.
- You confirm you are at least 18 and legally allowed to work.
- Pay is arranged directly between you and the person who needs the help. HelpBlaster does not hold, process, or guarantee payment.
If you post a job
- Describe the work honestly, including anything heavy, dirty, or awkward about it.
- Agree the pay before anyone arrives, and pay what you agreed when the work is done.
- You are responsible for the safety of your own site and for any insurance your situation calls for.
- Do not use HelpBlaster to find help for anything illegal.
What we do not do
We do not run background checks, verify skills, confirm insurance, or vet anyone beyond reading their signup. Both sides should use ordinary judgment. HelpBlaster is not liable for injury, loss, damage, theft, or unpaid work arising from an arrangement made through the site, to the extent the law allows.
Removing you
We can remove any account or listing at any time, for any reason, including no reason. Usually the reason is that somebody did not show up or somebody did not pay.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use HelpBlaster after a change means you accept it.
